The Story Behind the Name

The name Ernie comes from founder Euan's grandfather — someone who made bringing people together look effortless.

Warm, genuine and intentional in the way he connected with people, "Ernie" became a standard for how we believe experiences should feel. 

That thinking still shapes the business today: people first, purpose always, and no unnecessary noise - just considered experiences that create the right impact for the people in the room and the brands behind them.

    Euan Marsh is the Managing Director of Ernie Events, bringing more than 20 years of experience across corporate events, large-scale event management and strategic engagement programs.

    With a strong background in delivering complex events and experiences, Euan is known for combining operational expertise with commercial thinking — ensuring every event is not only executed seamlessly, but aligned to clear business objectives.

    His experience spans conferences, corporate functions, stakeholder engagement events and high-profile event programs, with a hands-on leadership style that connects planning, production and delivery from start to finish.

    At the centre of his approach is a belief that successful events should do more than bring people together — they should create lasting impact for brands, businesses and the people in the room.

    Kayla plays a central role in the commercial and operational performance of Ernie Events, helping drive sustainable growth through structure, consistency and smart delivery.

    Kayla focuses on refining systems, improving processes and building operational efficiencies that support both clients and the continued growth of the business.
